As you are well aware, the school start date was pushed back to Aug 17. Normally, lifeguard coverage was limited to only Fri, Sat, Sun starting Aug 3 (the previous school start date). The board voted to extend full lifeguard hours through Aug 16, so everything will remain the same until that date.
With kids being schooled virtually after that, we don't have the answers yet. I will let you know how/if/when the pool will remain open. I am waiting to see how state regulations may change after July 31, and how Nautix can accommodate staffing.
With limited usage on weekdays currently, we can increase weekly family slots from 6 to 8 slots per week. I realize people are traveling, so we will see how it goes once people are around more in August. Please continue to be courteous to not overbook (back to back on a Sat or Sun) on weekends to allow everyone a chance to attend.
Just a reminder that if your 12+ child is going to the pool unattended by an adult, please make sure you email me the unattended waiver form. Also, you must still book a family reservation slot even if it is just for one.
